Biz Lessons #5: The 80/20 Rule

The 80/20 rule is a principle that suggests that in most cases, 80% of results come from 20% of efforts.

It was observed first by Vilfredo Pareto, an Italian economist, who discovered that 80% of income in Italy was received by 20% of the Italian population. Since then, the principle has shown itself to be true in most situations, even in business.

It’s of course not an exact truth, but the principle is powerful.
